Building on the bol TiRaKiTe by adding the bol TaaGe which is played twice.

Go to TiRaKiTe
Go to TaaGe

Note the bol is spoken as Ra while a Te is played and the last syllable is spoken Ta while a Ti is played like. This is to make it easier to speak and play when put together into a compound, don’t overthink it, just play and speak along with the video to practice and learn it.

  1. Ti - right hand middle and ring fingers together play a band stroke. Go to Ti

  2. Ra - right hand index finger plays a band stroke as in the bol Te. Go to Te or Ra

  3. Ki - left hand plays a band stroke. Go to Ki, Ka or Kat

  4. Ta - right hand last three fingers together play a band stroke. Go to Ti

  5. Taa - right hand index finger is struck sharply in the chat (rim) to make a resonant sound. Go to Taa

  6. Ge - left hand index finger plays an open resonant stroke with the left hand poised like a cobra on the bāyāñ. Go to Ge

  7. Taa - right hand index finger is struck sharply in the chat (rim) to make a resonant sound. Go to Taa

  8. Ge - left hand index finger plays an open resonant stroke with the left hand poised like a cobra on the bāyāñ. Go to Ge

Note that the Ra and the Ta are played in the same way in this bol expression. Sometimes the single bol sounds vary when put together into a compound, so just play and speak along with the video to practice and learn it.
