This is a very common stroke. It is also the easiest to execute. One simply strikes with the flat palm and fingers to create a flat, slapping sound with no resonance; therefor it is a ‘band’ or closed stroke.

This bol may be pronounced as kat, ke, kin or kin depending on the context, but is always a short clipped sound as in cut, the stroke it is always executed in the same manner.

Notice the heel of the hand is over the chat (the outer skin) and the index finger is diagonally across the syahi (black spot).
